Albuquerque-area Mensans, you may or may not have heard, but Sharon Winters (our LocSec) is retiring as Sponsor of the Adventurous Diners SIG after the March dinner. That, my friends, is a bummer. Last month was the most well-attended dinner ever and, as I mentioned in another article, both the food and the service were excellent and a good time was had by all. I hope that someone (or a few someones) will consider sponsoring this SIG, even if the committment lasts only a few months.

The Adventurous Diners SIG sponsor is responsible for selecting an appropriate restaurant; calling to make sure that it can accomodate our group; booking a reservation for the 3rd Saturday of the month at 5:30 p.m.; accepting RSVPs for members and guests; and coordinating with the restaurant on the day of the event to ensure they have our reservation and will make enough seats available. We require a separate, or at least isolated, area and separate checks, which reduces the number of possible restaurants, but there are still plenty from which to choose. Past venues have included---
